A new report will throw a wrinkle into that, as it's now expected that the NBA will add 2 new teams, in Las Vegas and Seattle, within the next 2 years. If that is the case, an expansion draft would cost GM Sam Presti and OKC one of their players to that draft. Bleacher Report says it will be Jared McCain, but Thunder Digest feels otherwise. Ryan Breeden gives his take on expansion and how the Thunder will navigate it and change from it. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA), Jalen Williams (JDub) and Chet Holmgren are the most expensive player on the roster, and keeping guys like Ajay Mitchell, Cason Wallace, Isaiah Hartenstein and Jared McCain around will be a real challenge.
