This Day in Philly Sports History - April 10, 2024

It was a good, bad, and ugly day in Philly Sports last night. First the good, the Sixers won again and are still alive for the 6th seed. The bad is the Phillies not being able to hit for Zack Wheeler and the ugly is the Flyers....enough said. The Question of the Day is "What are you favorite memories at the Vet?" The Top 20 Memory for the 20th Anniversary at Citizen's Bank Park is when Jimmy Rollins passed Mike Schmidt as the Phillies all-time hit leader. Today's Philly Sports Team that has Unfinished Business is the 2022 Eagles. On this day in 1971 the Phillies beat the Expos 4-1 in the first game at The Vet. Larry Bowa had the first hit and Don Money had the first homer.
