The Phillies lost after immediately giving up 6 runs after scoring 6 in the top of the inning, killing any momentum they had. On this day in 2006 the Phillies traded 2 minor league pitchers to the Mariners for Souderton High's Jamie Moyer. The move would ultimately help lead to a World Series Championship for the Phills.
