On this day in 1978 it was The Miracle at the Meadowlands. Trailing 17-12 with under 30 seconds left, Herman Edwards took a Joe Pisarcik fumble 26 yards for a TD. The win propelled the Eagles to their first playoff berth under Dick Vermeil.
