Today's Red October Great Game in Phillies Postseason History is Game 5 of the 2022 NLCS. On this day in 1959 the Eagles beat the Steelers 28-24. In attendance was Eagles co-founder and NFL Commissioner Bert Bell. Bell suffered a heart attack in the stands and passed away the next day. He is NFL and Philadelphia royalty.
