This, I Believe 2 - Matthew 11:20-30

We're going through a series this summer about our denomination's statement of faith. Some people think these things about theology can be kind of boring. But the things in our doctrinal statement as a church define how God has shown himself to us. We believe that worshiping God correctly makes a big difference on our lives as well as how we think about things, how we process things, how we treat others. But more importantly, we want to glorify God first and foremost because he is good. He is worthy of all praise. It's when we are glorifying God that we are most alive. The first part of our statement of faith as a denomination talks about the Trinity: God the father, God this son, God the Holy Spirit, three persons, one God. Today, I'll be speaking about the Lord Jesus Christ. There is a lot in there and I will be focusing on the truth that Jesus, the eternal Son of God, came to be with us in the flesh: The son of God was fully God and fully man.
