“Send Coach John a message”A long time basketball coach and someone who I’ve watched from afar for a long time, Tom Crean (@TomCrean) put this post out recently and I think it’s right on target:  “You can never “escape” all the drama and negative people around but you can “avoid” them if you really try. Wasting time on people with ALL the answers or ALL of the negativity takes work but it’s well worth it. Your energy is always up for grabs. Don’t let the naysayers in.” This has been on my radar for a long time, but it seems like the light has been turned up on this for me lately. I think it’s one of those things that distractions for the world seem to be at an all-time high, but that’s only if you let it. But now, it simply takes a bit more focus and energy to make that happen & it’s entirely up to ourselves to pull it off. That’s what I’m trying to do a bit more now.
