Hello everybody! Today's topic is, this is how I get oxygen published in medium.com. The subtopic is, writing for medium keeps me alive like breathing without even thinking about where the oxygen will come from. When I get stuck or not able to keep up my commitment to writing, at least one article a day, I consciously ask, what is it about medium?
That attracts me attention. And that keeps me alive like breathing without even thinking about where the oxygen will come from. Wow, this question showed me the seven sources of oxygen. By writing for medium, I realize that I'm not only just writing for the sake of writing, but I'm consciously being present to my readers and other authors slash writers.
I'm improving my learning ability and developing new skills. Unlike just wandering on social media websites and watching videos, I read the articles recommended and highlight paragraphs that I can relate to or learn from. It's very fulfilling to see the notification from the writers for their claps, for their responses, for their highlighting the articles, paragraphs in my article, and even other writers article. I get a dopamine gush.
When someone follows, I check their biocrically and just say to myself, interesting. Thereby investing in my curiosity, character's strength. Remember character's strength? VIA, VIA, character's strength, character's strength.com, go to Google that then you will understand what I mean by curiosity and you will read more about curiosity, character's strength, and you'll understand what I'm saying.
When I get a notification that a writer has started following me, I do my best to read an article written, clap, highlight the sentences that I can learn from or relate to and comment. I do my best to give a shout out to one of the followers in my articles. Now, I would like to know how you respond when you get stuck. This is actually for the other writers, and any of my podcast listeners, if you're a writer, I also would like to learn from you.
When you get stuck, how do you respond? Shout out to Antonio Amalcic for a detailed informative and interesting article, an article is titled, What If The Entire Body Is A Brain? Interesting. I would recommend Google for this article, what if our entire body is a brain, and read it.
It's very interesting. This is what intrigued me and I highlighted from the article. Research finds that people who are more intraceptively attuned feel their emotions more intensely while also managing their emotions more adequately. This is so because interoceptive sensations form the building blocks of even our most subtle and nuanced emotions.
Affection, admiration, gratitude, sorrow, longing, regret, irritation, envy, and resentment. These are the subtle and nuanced emotions. Affection, admiration, gratitude, sorrow, longing, regret, irritation, envy, resentment. You know, normally we just say, I'm sad, I'm angry, I'm jealous.
I feel bad. I'm happy. I'm sorry. I'm, you know, something that it's very interesting because I'm reading, I take interest in reading about more about emotions.
And I would like you to research the word interoception and read articles, read that. Andrew Heberman's podcast talks a lot about interoception and exteroception. I would advise you to go ahead and check that out. And I learned quite a lot from the podcast.
Okay, the casual arrow. This is again, this is what I'm reading is what I highlighted. I read the article. She's also a medium author and I read it.
And I highlighted that because it, because there's something that I learned from it and it also jumped at me, something I'm continuing to learn from it. Okay, so that's what I read just now. One paragraph, the second paragraph is this, the casual arrow points in the opposite direction. The body produces sensations.
The body initiates actions. And only then does the mind assemble these pieces of evidence into the entity we call an emotion. The pioneering American psychologist, William James suggested that we feel fear because our heart is raising, because our palms are sweating. So I would recommend, go ahead and check it out.
This is a very short article I intended to write. And with that said, I'm ending this podcast again. Please see, subscribe to my stories by email or best chance to get my original works. You can also directly support me and other writers because it's a membership based program, they're writing in a medium.
Because I think the free service you just get to read only three articles or whatever. So you'll get full access, you can become a member, I've given the link to my profile. I've also given the link to Lilitar's Morning Using podcast that you can listen to from various platforms, iTunes, Google podcast, Spotify, and Anker. I've also given link to another way that I help people protect through legal protection and identity, their cheap protection.
