Hello, good morning everyone, this is the second podcast episode I'm recording on the same day. Well, I had given a pretty long break, went on a vacation to Canada and enjoyed Taroli, both Toronto and Ottawa. I'm back from vacation and I'm trying to catch up with the recording of my episodes and writing, sending it to the publishers. So let's go with the second topic today and that is, the topic is, this is how I was reassured.
And this article was published in Dancing Elephant's Press, which is a sub-publication in medium.com. Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections, but instantly set about remedying them. Every day, begin the task anew.
Hello my lovely readers, I'm committing to doing a 12-week home workout program, version 1.0, by Heather Robertson, observing my body, emotions and mine, and writing about the life lessons learnt. Today is day three of week seven. In case you missed my previous life lessons learnt, which I write for every workout, there are five in a week. It's a 12-week home workout program, then I've given the link to the article, valuing your mundane chores inspired to you.
In that article, I've also recorded a podcast episode, go ahead and search for it. You will also see week one to week four, each week five episodes, I have covered in that. Okay, life lessons learnt and take away from week five and six. Then when I started, I started giving each topic for the day, so that if you're interested, you can go, you know what, oh, this is interesting, I would like to check your previous episodes.
So I'm going to read out for you the topic for each, so that you can go ahead, pull out and check your previous episodes. So that you can go ahead, pull out and listen more. Valuing your mundane chores inspired to you, day two, home workout or walk outside on both, day three. I never thought exercising would help me stay inspired, day four.
Do you know what tabata means? I love it, day five. Do you feel breaking routine? Then week six, day one, do you listen to your body when you exercise, day two?
This is how I un-earth humility, day three, side effects of home workout, day four. This is how I beat boredom with my creative mind, day five. This is how one shift in mindset improve my productivity and life lessons learnt and take away from week seven. Day one, this is how exercising is helping me, day two, the best decision that has strengthened awareness.
Today's motherly jogger, kneeling squat, hip thrusters, half stand up squat, deadlift, one leg, left squat, one leg, right squat, speed skater and narrow and wide hop. I'm having an internal war between several parts. You may ask, what do you mean by internal war? In week seven, I completed working out on all the five days but completed writing only up to day two.
The discipline part is pressuring me to complete writing about the lessons learnt from days three to five of week seven. I can hear the words just do it. The responsible and the priority conscious part in me is justifying to me how I honestly completed all other chores in various domains such as home, family and business and demanded that demanded attention at that time. And hence, I could not catch up with writing scheduled.
The compassionate part that knows the existence of both the about parts is just watching the conflict between the two parts. The reassuring part is reminding me of the following completed tasks and portrays them as an achievement. Hey, Lalita, you have completed your self-driven because you committed itself driven nobody else is driving your car. You are driving the car self driven with an inverted commas working out and writing up and until week seven day two.
In each week, you had five days of working out and that means you have completed 32 days of home workout so far. You have completed 32 days of writing and you got your articles published in various publications. Okay, what happened when I wrote that when I wrote that realistic words from my reassuring part, what happened? When I wrote the words from reassuring part and read it aloud as I'm reading it aloud for you.
I'm writing also, I did that. Now for the podcast, I'm reading it aloud for you. So when I wrote the words from the reassuring part and read it aloud, I felt truly like an achiever and I got the reassurance that I will catch up writing. There may be distractions.
Suddenly, I may be distracted to do some other project in the same writing domain or in the podcasting domain or in my personal domain or in my family domain or family domain. When I say family domain as a woman, as a wife, as a mother, as a grandmother, as a business woman. I know it's going to take me in different directions, right? Okay.
Today's takeaway. When I dissociated myself from the momentary, disempowering, disciplining part, you need discipline, but then for that moment, that disciplining part was disempowering me. Okay. So when I dissociated from the momentary, disempowering, disempowering, discipline part, that was pressuring me to write just to keep up the discipline of writing that article that for that workout take away the same day.
Okay. And I allowed the reassuring part to chime in. I allowed the reassuring part to chime in. I realized that I did not give myself credit for completion so far and I did not celebrate it.
After this process of parts integration, my entire body, mind and emotions are in syncruity. I feel humble and filled with gratitude for completion so far and confident that in the future also I will be able to fulfill my commitment. I'm giving myself permission to take this highest energy of gratitude and run the rest of my day. Thank you for being a part of my home working out, writing and podcasting journey.
When you feel that some part of you showing up as a, when you feel that some part of you is showing up as a barrier, I invite you to give yourself permission to identify your different parts, different parts. Allow the parts to speak to you, speak to each other and have fun, creative and meaningful, fun, meaningful, fun-filled, productive day. Have patience with all the things but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them.
