James 4:7–8 (NIV)Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and He will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.Talk about laying it on heavy! I think we could all agree that sin destroys and that's exactly what James is getting at. But there is something that takes place before sin has been committed and that is what we're talking about.
