This is Life: A Healthy Family - Pt.4: A Father's Love and Lessons

Welcome back or maybe for the first time to This is Life:! Welcome to my series on a healthy family. This episode is the fourth of five. In this episode, I had the privilege of speaking with Brent, Monet and Matisse about their father-daughter relationship. We talked and laughed about how Brent was intentional about being a present father and making sure that Monet and Matisse were well equipped for their future. Brent shared his journey to fatherhood and the many lessons that he made sure to teach his daughters. Monet and Matisse shared their memories of times spent with their father, their appreciation for the how he was present for not only them, but other young men who he mentors and the impact that is had and continues to have on them. We discussed how their relationship has changed as they have moved through different stages of life. I learned that you don't have to be a perfect parent, but you have to be intentional about the time that you have with your children and to be as present in every moment as possible.
