This Is Not Okay

This Is Not Okay Music/Lyrics: Tomás G Robinson [This is weirdest, most horrible thing to happen to us as of late. As a people, as Latinos. To have a sitting president just okay with killing us. And that’s just crazy. You know? He’s okay with it. In fact, he’s encouraging it!] One day, not too long ago Everything was beautiful We were all people One day, in the devil’s den We were listening to a pedophile That’s how hell on earth began One day, not too long ago We were proud to be American There was nowhere we couldn’t go And, now today, it’s okay to kill As long as he’s a Mexican To give you that “proud boy supremest” thrill THIS IS NOT OKAY (4Xs) This is not okay: To chase them just because they’re brown To run them off the road Make sure there’s not a camera around Lack of decency They’re willing to take a life To prove a point, you see Look how we’re viewed around the world We were so proud and now it’s gone Because we have that orange-faced narcissist This is not okay! This is not my America (3xs) [And repeat it again, and again, and again! This is not okay! This is not okay! This is not okay! Say it until it’s not here anymore, say it!] This is not okay! Putting children in a pen Not letting their mothers in Shooting daddy in front them This is not okay! Never will be, Never will be It’s not normal It’s just evil This is not okay! This is not okay! [Take a human life Just because of a border line. Since when is the penalty for illegal immigration the death penalty?] This is not okay! No it’s not okay, no no This is not okay! It’s Time to stand up, time to march all together. Protest. Make a sign.] To march … get together. United we stand. Divided we fall. To march - stick together. Tell us how you feel. Rise up now together Stand up now together March ip now together To stop this. To end this Rise up now together Stand up now together March ip now together Let’s stop this right now The only way we’re going to stop this, is to fight this!
