Pastor Dale Benson Romans 4 We all used to be part of a group of people (Adam’s people). God made a guy named Abraham a promise (Abraham became the father of Faith). Jesus is the answer to Abraham’s faith and God’s promise. We now pass from death to life, not because we are Abraham’s bloodline, but because we are Abraham’s faith line. What makes us family now is not that the same blood flows through my veins. What makes us family now is that the same Holy Spirit dwells in us, and that enables the same faith that Abraham had. We are now friends of God and children of God. . . not by blood, but by faith.
