This is Us: Pete & Dara DeSoto

This Sunday we kicked off our intermittent series "This is Us" where we highlight some of what Jesus has done and is doing through members our church family.  Peter and Dara Desoto moved their whole family to El Salvador to pursue what God was calling them to... but the story took a dramatic turn... and led to the publishing of the book "Shot."  "This is Us" series will be taken from the theme of 1 Peter 2:4-6  (ESV):"As you come to him (Jesus), a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."We as Generation Church are all living stones in the house of God that Jesus is building here in Oceanside.  We are a story formed people.  These are some of those stories, pointing to HIS story.
