She has foundational training in Kathak and Latin American dance and a diploma in Movement Arts and Mixed Media from the Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts. Maitrayee has a research-driven approach to her work. Moving our bodies is good for preventing chronic disease, managing our weight, preventing Alzheimer’s and much more.
