This Is Y: Understanding Diabetes and the Resources to Manage It Through The Y 11/29/25

Diabetes affects millions of Americans every year, and older Americans are at an increased risk of being diagnosed with it. Three out of the five counties in Northeast Florida are above the state average for adults with diabetes, so it’s critically important for the First Coast YMCA to provide resources to manage this chronic disease. This episode, airing during Diabetes Awareness Month, will explore the Y’s Diabetes Prevention Program, including through the eyes of a recent participant, and how you can get connected to this potentially life-saving program.
