This Letter's For You
from John Dyhouse · host John Dyhouse
I wrote this song on a whim, the postman had just delivered our mail; I was thinking about my next song and for no reason it seemed to just write itself. Sometimes this kind of experience provides the best of songs - and I do love this one. I was experimenting with the Americana genre in Suno, which is something I love, I bought Rod Stewarts album of songs from the American Songbook, a great CD. One thing this allowed me to do was to see how the song would sound with a piano in a jazzy syle. I Love the way, A writer can judge his (or her) song with so many different styles/genres rather than limiting themselves. A great feature of AI assisted music production, as my only instrument is a guitar/ukulele, this is a fantastic way to expand the breadth of your output.
