This mission is so BIG, it made me cry this morning... for real EP 197

This workshop is part of a multi-part series about normalizing mental health and addiction services, basic mental health level of care education, and how to get into the prevention business instead of waiting for our families and friends to get sick and in crisis before we help them. We recorded the workshop at a teachers, counselors, and corrections conference.  If you know someone, a group, conference, school, or organization that would benefit from something like this, please pass it along! Some of you know I've been on a mission for the last couple of years to get in touch with my emotions. Specifically, all the ones I've wanted to avoid most of my life like sadness, grief, and anger. Some strategies I have used are ACA 12-step meetings, EMDR therapy, IFS therapy, inner child work, MKP integration groups, meditation, journaling, and especially, intensive men's work weekends. I have turned a corner in the last few months and I would attribute it to 90 days of daily visualization meditation in the morning. It seems to have unlocked all the inner work I've been doing. I cry almost every day. A good cry, all touching on feelings and memories I have forgotten about for years.  What is significant about that is, just this morning, I imagined myself having a new life mission. To get workshops like this one into every school, university, counseling office, department of corrections, probation department, and community. When I thought the thought and visualized it while in deep meditation, I started crying and said to myself...
