Sunday evening featured one of the most riveting stretches of play for the entire 2023 season to date as the WTA took center stage with Iga Swiatek saving two match points to defeat Belinda Bencic 6-7, 7-6, 6-3 and Elina Svitolina overcoming a 2-6, 0-2 deficit to edge Victoria Azarenka 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 in an emotional and high-quality encounter. Earlier in the day on Centre Court, Andrey Rublev played a great old-school Wimbledon match against a comeback-minded Alexander Bublik, with Rublev eventually prevailing 7-5, 6-3, 6-7, 6-7, 6-4. Elsewhere on Day 7, winners included Jessica Pegula, Marketa Vondrousova, Mirra Andreeva, Jannik Sinner, Grigor Dimitrov, and Roman Safiullin.
