This Point In Time

Deep cut from Treasurefruit debut "Poisonous Dwellers of the Desert" Mid-tempo classic rock epic power ballad with Southern shades of Skynrd. Powerful female vocals soar above majestic guitars. Poignant self-reflection, social commentary and life-purpose affirmations through seasonal metaphors (Autumn through the Holidays). LYRICS: THIS POINT IN TIME Summertime has come and gone It’s back to school for everyone Before October even comes I’ve got my costume and my gloves The future’s written by the past And this adventure’s not the last Here we go, round the block A cleaner slate on which to rock the boat’s arrived My ship’s come in, better climb aboard and don’t look back again The wind is blowin’ from the East And folks keep dancin’ to the beat Before Thanksgiving games are played I’ve got my aces saved in spades The future’s written by the past And only fleeting moments last Straight ahead, feel the breeze See the forest through the trees and just relax With peace of mind, all we’ve ever done’s led to this point in time This point in ti-me This point in time is not just numbers But a new found state of mind This point in time will tell the answers We have come so far to fi-nd The smell of firewood fills the air And pine trees crowd the city square Before the holidays consume I’ll get my floorplan inked in blue The future’s written by the past And certain things were built to last Here we go, round the block A cleaner slate on which to rock the boat’s arrived My ship’s come in, better climb aboard and don’t look back again Straight ahead, feel the breeze See the forest through the trees and just relax With peace of mind, all we’ve ever done’s led to this point in time This point in ti-me This point in time is not just numbers But a new found state of mind This point in time will tell the answers We have come so far to fi------ind Artist: Treasurefruit Album: Poisonous Dwellers of the Desert Notes: Recorded at The Scratchin' Post Studios in Scottsdale, AZ www.treasurefruit.com
