This Shallow World

"This Shallow World" exploring the tension between human consciousness and the instinct-driven, herd-like nature of society. The song presents a world where humans are aware and their minds exist, but are fragmented and constrained, split between perception and the primal patterns imposed by the collective. A society in which individuals reduce themselves to fit the most primitive, animalistic base level, surrendering their full potential and authentic experience to conform with herd instincts, roles and expectations. Awareness is present, yet limited, producing split minds that struggle to reconcile intellect with instinctual pressures and bends it over emotions. The idea of the "perfect mystery" represents the human tendency to create enigmas about themselves, forcing others to spend energy decoding them, while simultaneously shaping one's own perception of the world into a "perfect binary" of good and bad during viewing this perfect mysteries. However, this binary is unstable and flips unpredictably, producing misery, confusion, mistrust, and the sense of contradiction - the "contrary". [Instrumental intro] [Verse 1] We live with patterns no one sees, and silent scripts we can't get rid. With animal traits renamed as human, to make live easy, just as animals. [Pre-chorus] This shallow world and split inside. And false connections of our minds, led by the perfect mystery to waste your time, until the misery. [Chorus] And waste your time, behind a lie. And split your mind, just to survive. And waste our time, as all mankind. And split our world, as your own mind. [Instrumental break] [Verse 2] We live in herds where humans bow, and silent rules obey the fowl. With instincts ruling every gesture, no mind can thrive beyond this pasture. [Pre-chorus] These shallow words and split inside. And false dichotomy of our minds, led by the perfect binary, to waste your time, until the contrary. [Chorus] And waste your time, behind a lie. And split your mind, just to survive. And waste our time, as all mankind. And split our world, as your own mind. [Instrumental break] [Solo] [Chorus] And waste your time, behind a lie. And split your mind, just to survive. And waste our time, as all mankind. And split our world, as your own mind. [Solo] [Chorus] And waste your time, behind a lie. And split your mind, just to survive. And waste our time, as all mankind. And split our world, as your own mind. [Solo] [Post-chorus] Because you never would feel real, and all these connections in this world aren't real. They're just the instincts of animals, led by primitive rituals. [Instrumental break] [Solo] [Outro]
