Ugh. It’s been a struggle today. Both Mai and I are sick. Mooch seems unaffected, thankfully.I damn near ran a rerun for my new article earlier. Nobody would have minded if I hadn’t delivered a new one. Ditto about taking a break from the podcast today. After all, I’m close to 550 days in a row of doing these without fail.But fuck that, I take pride in what I do. And I feel that it’s important. So I show up daily and do my job.I like being an ironman of writing and podcasting. If someone asked me to describe in one word the biggest factor in my growth to the level it has so far, I’d answer, “consistency.” A secondary factor? Traitor Trump being the biggest dick-smack in U.S. politics. He’s good for business if you do what I do for a living. But I’d give it all up for him to be finished. Gone.
