"This time I am doing it for me" - Lou Bell

Lou Bell has overcome many challenges in his life, yet he still had doubts and anxieties as he attended Camp Reboot as the winner of a scholarship in 2013.  On the 2nd day of the 5 day event, it all clicked into place and it started off the changes that are making a difference in Lou's life.  Lou explained that this is "not just a dieting thing, it is a lifestyle thing".  It really was a change of mindset. The changes started when Lou's best friend asked him to get involved in the marathon they were running and to complete the last 4.2 miles.  This was followed by being nominated for (and winning) the scholarship to Camp Reboot event held by Joe Cross - from the film Fat Sick and Nearly Dead. While he was there Lou connected with the stories of the success panel which included previous guests - Brian Robertson, Kitten the Juice Pirate and Shane Whaley.  It was at that this point that Lou realised that his focus had always been on doing things for others and this time it was about doing things for himself (interestingly, this focus seems to have a ripple effect and is inspiring and supporting many others by default). During our conversation Lou shares his inspiring story, his change in mindset, how he is creating a sustainable change, his intentions for the future, as well as the benefits of having a wonderful community and support network that keeps pushing, challenging, helping and inspiring you to achieve what you are truly capable of.  It really does show the value of surrounding yourself with the right people and the right information.
