On today’s show, Sabrina Madison, president of the Madison Common Council, is in conversation with local elected officials and organizers about the recent police killing of Corey Ruiz on Madison’s Near-East side. We’re joined by Supervisor Yogesh Chawla, community organizer Clyde Mayberry, and Alder Davey Mayer. Supervisor Chawla and Alder Mayer represent the area of Williamson and Baldwin Streets where Corey Ruiz was killed and where a memorial site has been constructed by community members.
