This Week in Moab: Increasing Moab's Property Tax and meet KZMU's New Station Manager!

Thirty two years ago the City of Moab’s Property Tax rate was set at 0%. As a result a number of important infrastructure and improvement projects have gone unfunded, and now the City Council is exploring increasing the city’s property tax. On This Week In Moab we hear from Moab Mayor Joette Langianese and Moab City Councilmember Kaitlin Myers about what city property taxes will fund and why it’s important to the future of Moab. We also get introduced to Jenna Whetzel, KZMU’s new Station Manager and learn about her past with the region and the station and some of her hopes for the future of KZMU Community Radio.
