There were many patriots who died in those many risings. Thamas Ashe was a poet, a teacher and a hero. He died to free Ireland. He also was a devout Catholic and he wrote a poem/prayer that I recite in this episode. It is called, "Let Me Carry Your Cross For Ireland, Lord"Support the show
