Thomas from AARP on what the Paid Family and Medical Leave means for small business owners and supporting caregivers beyond National Caregivers Month

Next Saturday, November 29th Sheletta is hosting a Small Business Brunch on Small Business Saturday from 9-11am at the Coliseum at E Lake Street in Minneapolis. Thomas Elness from AARP joins Sheletta to talk about being a community partner for Sheletta’s event and being prepared as a small business at the state level with the new implementation of Paid Family and Medical Leave starting January 1st. They also talk about a grant that small businesses can apply to help cover costs when an employee takes leave.
