Thomas Hansen is setting up a First Nations led aquaculture enterprise on Palm Island, near Townsville. Palm Island was used to house many of the local aboriginal tribes when they were forced off their lands by the English. Employment is hard to come by on the island now, this project will help boost the fortunes of the Island. The remarkable Giant Clam is at the centre of the enterprise.
