[MARA Guest Lecture] Establishing an effective new records program or overhauling an existing one so that the resulting program is truly effective requires a clear vision, careful planning, and judicious consideration of numerous choices. Some components of a records management program are essential while others are elective, but even the key components require decisions regarding methods and philosophy. Those decisions should be based upon the organizational environment and reflect a results oriented approach.
