We zijn allemaal een beetje stil van het gesprek met Thomas Sijtsma. Hij schreef in 2018 het boek 'Het beest: het wielerleven van Lieuwe Westra'. Heel openhartig vertelt Westra daarin over zijn verslaving en depressie waarmee hij worstelde. Het boek kreeg afgelopen weekend een wrang extra hoofdstuk toen bleek dat Lieuwe was overleden op veertigjarige leeftijd.
