Thor Ragnarok | Ben & Bran See a Movie

It's time for Ben Friedman and Branson Indelicato to feel the power of the thunder down under! This week on 'Ben & Bran See a Movie' we decided to cover Thor: Ragnarok in anticipation of Taika Waititi's newest installment Thor Love and Thunder.   Thor Love and Thunder is the 29th film installment within the MCU and is releasing 5 years post Ragnarok. So, we decided to go back and determine what makes Thor: Ragnarok so special!  What impressed me most upon rewatch is how the comedy still holds up, how great of performances the cast gives, and the film's willingness to embrace the effects of imperialism and how an empire expanding can never be altruistically good.  You'll notice that the format for the episode's has changed. We've added a few segments we are really proud of including Mt. Rushmore and Movie Marathon where we suggest movies to watch if you like this week's films. Some of the movies suggested this week included: What We Do in the Shadows, Guardians of the Galaxy, and the #tollywood sensation #RRR.
