Those who would see will see

It’s tempting to believe that the key to happiness lies in having our needs met. Whether that’s financial, health, relationship, reputation, or whatever - getting those needs fully met will lead to the joy we desperately desire.But that belief - and the seeking for such fulfillment in the expectation that happiness will follow - leads us no where. It actually leads us into exactly what we don’t want. Which is more and more seeking but not finding what we truly want.There’s an old adage that says “when the student is ready, the teacher appears.” Meaning: when we’re ready to let go of our limiting beliefs about the world, then we will understand the path to true peace.This line from A Course in Miracles helps frame the concept: “Those who would see will see.” And we are all “those who WOULD see” - once we open up that little willingness to let go of our ego beliefs that happiness is outside us.Our practice for today is to channel that “little willingness” into returning to our mind, observing all our limiting ego beliefs, and asking for help to see them through the eyes of love.Support the show
