“Thou Art the Christ” Matthew 15–17; Mark 7–9

Welcome to the Come Follow Me Podcast for Kids! We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and we create this podcast for primary aged children (2-12) following along with the church’s Come Follow Me Manual. This is a New Testament Bible Study podcast for children. If your children would like to be guests on our podcast email us at [email protected] and we will send you an assignment for a future week. This week we are learning about the story of the fish with the coin in its mouth and Peter pays taxes. The children will learn that Jesus will provide for our needs, no matter how small they are. Second, we learn that Jesus can do amazing miracles just to provide for our simple needs. And third, we learn that not offending people is a good thing. It’s important to treat others with respect and to be peacemakers. They will also learn of how Peter declared “thou art the Christ. A testimony of Jesus Christ comes through revelation. And that The Church of Jesus Christ is led by those who hold priesthood keys.
