ThoughtFlow- 3 Ways to Shift Self-Doubt to Be Confident

from Magnetic Communication · host Sandy Gerber

Send us Fan Mail Today, we’re diving into ThoughtFlow™—what it is, why it matters, and how shifting it can make you more confident, self-aware, and emotionally intelligent. Hey, you. Quick question: What was the very first thing you said to yourself this morning? Was it: • “Ugh, I should have gone to bed earlier…” • “Why do I look so puffy? I look terrible” • “I have so much work to do I don’t know how I will get it all done.”   Everything we create in our lives starts with our thoughts. So the first way to be magnetic in your communication is with your ThoughtFlow. To communicate better, you first need to check in on your self-communication.   And let’s be honest—we are very curious about ourselves. ‘Did I send that email? What’s for dinner? Wait, why did I walk into this room?’ Yeah. Most if us are struggling with self-communication.   Picture this. Research tells us that on average we humans juggle about 6,200 thoughts a day. Yes, that’s six-two-zero-zero. But here’s the plot twist—80% of those thoughts are negative, and 95% are on repeat. Let’s pause on that for a second.   That means you’re not even thinking new things. You’re basically walking around with a mental playlist stuck on repeat. And unfortunately, it’s not a playlist full of motivational songs. Nope.   Your brain’s DJ seems to like titles like: • “Why Did I Say That in the Meeting?” • “Am I Even Good at My Job?” • “What’s That Weird Noise My Car is Making?” • “Does My Boss Secretly Hate Me?” • “I Forgot to Reply to That Text…”   We don’t even realize it, but these mental loops dictate how we feel, how we act, and most importantly—how we communicate. Because if your ThoughtFlow is clogged up with self-doubt, overthinking, and worst-case scenarios, guess what? That’s exactly what’s showing up in your conversations. But the good news? You can break the cycle.
