Thoughts on Leadership

Quote of the Day Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.   Happiness & Success come in the little things like...   Today I want to talk to you about Leadership   Somedays I just want to share with you thoughts I happen to be studying and review myself. This morning I was listening to John Maxwell talk about leadership, and I had a few thoughts I wrote down to share with you.   Leadership is a combination of 2 things... 1- Values 2- Competency   Values are a key factor and you cannot separate these two things.   John also talked about creating impact in your life through Round Tables...   The 3 main questions people within your influence are asking (leadership) are:   1- Do you care about me? 2- Can you help me? 3- Can I trust you?   Ask yourself these core questions about your life in business, personal, family, and relationships. All 3 of these questions are important and critical for leadership and also a fulfilling life of impact.   Are you Goal Oriented or Value Oriented?   Goals without values will allow you to hit benchmarks that are unfulfilling.
