Thread #89: Taking the Initiative

from Chuck Quinley Hosted by Thread with Dr. Chuck Quinley

"Fortune favors the bold," is an old Latin proverb (Audentes fortuna iuvat). It means that most of the time the victory goes to the one who strikes first and goes big, putting everything behind their actions versus those who are timid and calculating, waiting for the situation to become "safe". Every reward contains a required element of risk. Today's Thread is about a champion in early Christianity named Barnabus. He undertook an unpopular and risky action, stepping out when nobody else would. Initiative. Got it?
