What are three foods you should not eat especially if you have had kidney stones? Dr Michael Lange talks about anti nutrients that are in many foods. Anti nutrients like lectins, phytic acid and oxalates. He says to make these foods safer it is a good idea to sprout, ferment or soak to decrease the amounts of anti-nutrients. 3 foods you should not eat if you have had kidney stones are spinach, beets and almonds. Substitute kale for spinach and cashews, macadamias or pistachios for almonds. If you must eat these three foods, then eat something with calcium like cheese or milk with high oxalate foods.
