"Three Generations Of Hikers"

Happy New Year! and Welcome to season two everyone!  It's been a long time and we're ready to talk to you again. Boy oh boy, had to knock the dust off and it was a little weird after being off for so long. But here we are 2021 and ready to go. Are you? Today we get into our most recent adventure, hike 49 of our @52HikeChallenge. But this time we took a 7 year old with us on his first real hike, three generations hiking together in very different stages of life... father 57, daughter 17 and grandson 7. At the end of the hike we interviewed him, so stay tuned for that raw recording in the car (#ThePuddleJumper). Whitebeard has always called him Mr. Catz since he was little... but after today, he's earned the trail name "Energizer Bunny"! We're unsure how he kept going after hiking 2+ steep miles up to the summit in 20 mph winds. Yep, you read that right, it was 1,470+ ft. with an elevation gain of 420ft. We have to say we were impressed, blessed and proud of such an achievement. we're seriously thinking of taking him out with us more in the future.
