In 2023, Julian was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 in the Social Media category and won two Webby Awards for Recess Therapy (Viral Video and Best Creator, Personality or Host). In 2022, he also received the Family Entertainment Safe Streaming Hero Award at the inaugural Family Entertainment Awards Dinner presented by Variety. Julian is the creator and executive producer of Celebrity Substitute, developed alongside Oscar- and Tony-winning songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. He grew up between Cobble Hill, Brooklyn and Philadelphia and was raised by five parents: his biological mother and her ex-wife; his biological father and his husband; and a stepmother.
