Three Kinds of People I Have Pastored

Have you ever wondered why some church people act the way they act? The church at Corinth was a troubled church. They divided and chose sides over the preachers they preferred. They turned a blind eye to the deep sin that had penetrated the congregation. They argued about spiritual gifts. They tried to live a spiritual life with one foot in the world and the other in heaven. They were a mess. This text teaches that every member of any congregation fits in one of three categories. The natural man has never been born again. The carnal man tries to live in both worlds. The spiritual man is in tune with God’s will. This message examines the three categories of mankind. Bruce Wilkinson wrote a very helpful book. Experiencing Spiritual Breakthrough: The Principle of Three Chairs. It is one of the most encouraging books I have read regarding spiritual growth.
