Because we fans of THE WITCHER have already learned to reconcile differences and/or contradictions between Book Lore and Video Game Lore (and really it doesn't bother us much at all), the fight over what's "Canon" and what's not -- see: STAR WARS Canon vs. Legends/EU etc. -- hasn't been much of an issue with the TV series on Netflix and is really liberating to Lauren Hissrich and the filmmakers there. Here's a quick summation of how this fortunate set of circumstances came to be by yours truly, The Bizzle.
