Three Observations From Oklahoma Softball's Fall Ball
from SoonerNation: Oklahoma Sooners Hosted by AC Sports
The Sooners have played three(ish) fall games at Love’s Field, and there are already plenty of reasons for Sooner Nation to be excited about what’s ahead! Let's break down three key takeaways from Oklahoma’s fall action so far: The Youngsters Are Continuing To Make Noise: Juliana “Goose” Hutchens, Kendall Wells, and Kai Minor have delivered explosive offensive performances, showing that Oklahoma’s young core could continue to make an impact. The Bats Are LOUD: From home-run after home-run to triples, the Sooner offense has shown just how dangerous it can be. But can the pitching staff find answers against this loaded lineup? Patty Gasso Is Still Putting the Pieces Together: With position battles, defensive adjustments, and pitching roles to sort out, fall ball is about more than winning. It’s about finding the right combination to make another championship run. It’s still early, and fall ball is no substitute for the challenges of the regular season. But the talent is evident, the competition is heating up, and Oklahoma has plenty of intriguing questions to answer before spring. #Sooners #SoonerNation #boomersooner #softball
