Invest time and effort into developing these emotional intelligence skills. Read the books. Hang out with the right people. Take the assessments. Practice it. Seek out people that can help you. Those who prioritize their own growth, are going to be the ones that set a positive example for their teams. And they're going to create a culture that values emotional intelligence at all levels of the organization.
