Three ways to miss having your life radically transformed by Jesus’ teaching

We’re finally at the conclusion of Jesus’ ridiculously famous teaching, The Sermon on the Mount, which has been occasionally called the constitution of the Kingdom of God. Jesus came declaring, “Repent, the kingdom of God is here.” With Jesus’ healing ministry in full swing, crowd control has become an issue. But there is a growing band of people who are getting serious about following Jesus, so he decides to sit them down and lay out what it actually looks like to live in the kingdom of God - where God rules and reigns. Our text this week is the final chunk. The conclusion. And it’s a warning. A big, big warning. Jesus has poured out his heart and now he wants his followers to understand how significant this big download of teaching has been.
