Baby Thomas was played by twin girls Katie and Kallie who are now 10-months old. This was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia. Written by Paul Campbell and Kimberley Sustad. They also have together written 2020’s "Christmas By Starlight" - which has been re-airing on Hallmark Channel. Terry Ingram directed. He now has 4 movies in the top ten Hallmark debuts for 2022. Margaret Colin who plays Barbara Brenner - mom of Luke, Taylor and Stephan - was also in the 1987 "Three Men and a Baby" where she played Tom Selleck’s girlfriend. Bravo to casting! Tom Selleck resigned from the NRA board in 2018 citing scheduling conflicts. Ali Liebert (who plays Fiona), directed "North to Home" - also starring Kimberley Sustad. Our Thoughts on "Three Wise Men and a Baby" This is a synopsis of the ideas we discuss in greater detail on "Girls Gone Hallmark". We invite you to become listeners of the show to hear our full thoughts and dive deeper into the world of Hallmark movies with us! What We Liked Let's start with what we absolutely loved. The focus on the brothers and their relationship was a refreshing twist. We appreciated how the movie abandoned the typical Hallmark holiday tropes to bring us a story that was heartfelt and relatable. The chemistry between the three male leads was undeniable, and you could truly feel the bond of friendship among them. One of the highlights? Tyler Hynes living in his mom's basement. When she called him for dinner and he replied, “Ma, I’ll be upstairs in a minute,” it was sheer perfection. We also loved the everyday baby hijinks, from putting together the swing to dealing with stinky diapers. It brought a delightful, real-life touch to the movie. The emotional depth was also a strong point. Scenes like the brothers' car conversation about their mom and dad really tugged at our heartstrings. Not to mention the film’s sensitive portrayal of single motherhood, and the grace they showed to the struggling mother who needed help. What We Wished For While we were mostly enamored with the movie, we had a couple of small wishes: Firstly, we struggled a bit with the believability of a mother leaving her eight-month-old at a fire station. While we understand the storyline aimed to illustrate desperation, it felt a little off given modern-day contexts. Secondly, the romantic subplot between Andrew Walker’s character and Sophie felt a bit too neat and tidy. We loved that they ended up together, but it seemed driven more by his affection for baby Thomas rather than a genuine romantic connection.
