In Apostolic Constitutions, Book II, Chapters 49–58, we examine the character of accusers and witnesses, the importance of impartiality in judgment, and how even pagan courts sometimes model better care in justice than believers. We’re warned against judging without hearing both sides and are reminded that Christian conflict must always move toward reconciliation, or else prayer itself is hindered.
