Edith Clifford Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s. Do you know who this lady is? She’s singer, actress and comedienne Edith Clifford. You’ll hear all about her and hear three of her recordings in the first segment of this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records as she gets her very first birthday segment. But hers is not the only birthday salute this week. In the second segment you’ll hear three works from the pen of actor, songwriter, author and theatrical producer John L. Golden, getting his second birthday segment (his first was in 2019). In other segments we’ll be throwing some things, we’ll do some swinging and in the final segment, we’ll go shopping.
