Thunderball (1965) with my mate Ross

from Review It Yourself

Sean is joined by his best mate Ross to discuss Thunderball (1965), Sean Connery’s fourth outing as James Bond. If this was a Friends episode, it would be known as “The One with the Mink glove”. Sean tries and fails to discuss (again!) his disappointment in the last few Bond films, particularly No Time To Die. Ross and Sean wonder if there are Thunderball deleted scenes somewhere and discuss the uncomfortable attitudes in certain parts of the film. They also notice the effect of currency inflation on the legacy of the film- It's not as boring as it sounds.Random Questions:-Why does Thunderball remind Ross of a holiday to Las Vegas? -Why was there so much voice-dubbing in Connery’s Bond films? -Should you really handle Atomic Bombs like eggs? -Did Pierce Brosnan’s Bond films decline in quality with each film? Thanks for listening! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
