Thunderbolts* (2025) — "There is something wrong with me. An emptiness."

The MCU has spent the last few years looking for its next big idea, and Thunderbolts* (2025) goes looking among the leftovers. Directed by Jake Schreier, it throws together Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes, David Harbour's Red Guardian, Ghost, John Walker and Taskmaster — a team of B-listers, washouts and people Marvel forgot it had — in a film that turns out to be about depression, loneliness and showing up for one another. We talk Florence Pugh, the Void, and that asterisk. Chris Stachiw, the Doctor of Podcasting, digs into Thunderbolts*, Florence Pugh, the Void, and so much more.
