One of the best cartoons to come out of the 80’s, we got a group of catlike people who were transported to Third Earth, to make a home for themselves. Liono, their leader, is something of a man-child – his body was not protected in suspended animation like the others, and so arrived as a grown up, but still with the mentality of a younger child, and had to learn to become a leader to Tygra, Wilykit and Wilykat, Cheetara, Panthro, and Snarf. The show was a veritable hit, and we all knew how the Eye of Thundara worked, giving sight beyond sight as kids.
